Have you ever wished you had the long, beautiful hair shown in fairy tales? Meet Angelica Baranova, a native of Pokosnoye hamlet in Russia, who is a real-life Rapunzel. She hasn’t cut her hair short since she was five years old, no extensions or anything!
The 28-year-old receives a lot of attention for her hair, which practically sweeps the floor. She used to be approached by strangers on the street, who would ask her a lot of questions and even want to touch her gorgeous hair. As a result, she now normally wears scarves and covers her hair when she goes out.
It all began while Angelica was still a young child and her parents forbade her from cutting her hair since they thought she had a good chance of letting it grow because it had always been so thick and healthy. Angelica even won the top prize in a competition dubbed “Russian braid,” which was a Moscow flat! She has simply allowed it to develop more and more ever since that encouragement.
