I assume that everyone has heard a lot about stroke. Strokes are no longer limited to the elderly; many young people still experience them.
Strokes can put our lives in danger if they are not identified and treated quickly. Some of the things we do in the morning have the potential to cause a stroke, based on what I read in the newspaper
Below, I’ll provide details about those habits.
Given that they have the potential to cause a stroke, we should refrain from doing them.
In order to prevent stroke, general practitioner Nguyen Xuan Quang (Military Medical Academy) advised everyone to immediately break certain unhealthy habits in the morning.
1. Jumping up immediately in the morning
When they wake up in the morning, many people have the tendency to get up right away. This is the morning habit that has the highest risk of causing stroke, according to medical professionals.
Nguyen Xuan Quang, a general practitioner from the Military Medical Academy, has issued the following warning: You must immediately break the habit of waking up early. Because when sleeping, the parasympathetic nervous system is engaged, the heart beats slower, contracts more gently, and blood pressure is lower than when awake.
If you quickly wake up, the sympathetic nervous system is significantly engaged, forcing the heart to beat stronger and faster, causing blood pressure to surge.
That makes small blood vessels in the brain more prone to rupture, causing a hemorrhagic stroke.
Doctor Quang recommends that after waking up, everyone should lie down for another 1-2 minutes. Use your hands to massage your face, eyes, head and neck to wake up before getting up.
2. Drink a glass of diluted salt water shortly after waking up
Surely many people have been performing this habit because they think it has a very excellent antiseptic effect, destroys germs in the mouth, strengthens teeth, and strengthens gums.
However, that does not mean we should drink salt water early in the morning because eating too much salt has long been warned that it can cause high blood pressure, stroke, kidney damage…
In addition, when we simply wake up, our stomach is empty, drinking saliva will influence the esophagus and stomach lining, creating irritation and ulcers over time.
3. Exercise when it’s too early
Exercise is still good for health. However, people should not exercise at dawn, when the sun has not yet risen because at this time the temperature is still low, exercising early can cause colds, cold weather can easily cause vasoconstriction, more dangerously it can cause myocardial infarction and cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases and stroke.
For persons with poor health, exercising early in the morning also causes substantial sleep loss, at which point our bodies will not be able to work as effectively as predicted and raise the risk of damage.
4. As soon as you wake up, drink a lot of water.
While it’s a good idea to drink water first thing in the morning, especially during the winter, you shouldn’t consume too much at once.
The reason is that consuming excessive amounts of water in a short period of time will put more strain on the heart. People who already have cardiovascular issues may experience symptoms including dyspnea and an accelerated heartbeat, or they may even have a stroke.
As a result, it is recommended that everyone simply consume 200–300 ml of water, which is sufficient.
Additionally, avoid waiting until you’re thirsty to take small sips of water.
I’m providing the above information because I thought it was fascinating when I read it in the newspaper.
Everyone should exercise caution, even with little everyday routines, particularly in the morning, as strokes are extremely extremely serious and can impact our life.
