Hulk Hogan has seemingly responded after his daughter Brooke made explosive claims that she’s been “verbally and mentally abused since childhood”.

Last week, Linda Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s first wife, shared a video alleging that her family has been fractured since she and the former WWE star divorced.

“It’s been 15, however long years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is the worst mess,” she said in her Instagram Stories.

The former couple were married from 1983 until their divorce was finalized in July 2009. The Hogan family became household names thanks to their VH1 reality series Hogan Knows Best, which aired for four seasons between 2005 and 2007.

“Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She had twins, she got married [and] she didn’t tell us,” the 65-year-old said about her daughter and her husband Steven Oleksy’s private wedding in 2022 and the birth of their twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, in January 2025.

She claimed the estrangement began after Brooke had a falling-out with her father about eight years ago. “I don’t know how that reflected onto me, but she cut me out too,” she said.

Following her mother’s comments, Brooke, 36, issued a lengthy response on Instagram that detailed her alleged trauma and the painful reasons why she no longer speaks to either of her parents.

“I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,” she penned. “Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes, it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes.

“This vicious pattern has robbed me of any sense of self-esteem or confidence I’ve trained to pretend to have,” she continued. “Up until adulthood, I’ve received berating and vile text messages, with unbelievably hurtful words said to me that cannot be forgotten.

Brooke penned that she’s been asked to “defend poor behaviour to the public and have done so out of love”.

“Only to find I was misinformed, manipulated, and lied to. Still to this day, I face constant ridicule for those poor decisions of others,” she wrote. “I’ve watched others benefit financially off my suffering and embarrassment caused by their selfish behaviour. While it caused my life to crumble, I continued to stay strong and silent.”

The ‘About Us’ singer, who now uses her husband’s last name, added that the emotional toll had finally pushed her to cut ties.

Hogan, 71, appeared to fire back by posting a video of himself and his current wife, Sky Daily Hogan, casually eating popcorn.

To many, the post appeared to be a dig at his daughter’s serious allegations. “Classy, that’s your child,” one person commented. “This is actually incredibly sad,” another said, while a third added: “If this was my dad posting this or enabling this behavior, I would never speak to him again.”

Some fans, however, think the video was more likely aimed at Linda, who also took aim at her ex-husband in the same Instagram Story.

“Yet he marches on, like, ‘Oh, I’m promoting my own beer, real American beer. Yeah, look at me,’” Linda said, calling Hogan a “complete liar” and a “sex addict”.
